Chery Announces October Arrival of TIGGO 4 Pro in Australia

Chery has confirmed the upcoming addition of the TIGGO 4 Pro to its Australian lineup, with the compact SUV set to arrive in October 2024. Priced "under $24,000 driveaway", the TIGGO 4 Pro positions itself as the most affordable turbo-powered compact SUV in the Australian market.

Official pricing will be confirmed closer to its launch in October 2024.

Measuring 4320mm in length, the TIGGO 4 Pro is approximately 80mm shorter than Chery's Omoda 5 which sits at 4400mm in length.

This release marks the third model from Chery's TIGGO SUV series in Australia, following the earlier launch of the TIGGO 8 Pro Max and upcoming Omoda E5 electric car. According to Chery Australia CEO Lewis Lu, the TIGGO 4 Pro aims to "deliver an innovative and affordable motoring experience" for Australian consumers.

The TIGGO 4 Pro will be available in two grades—Urban and Ultimate—both powered by a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine producing 108kW and 210Nm of torque.

Key features include a 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven airbags, heated front seats, and a range of driver assistance technologies.

Globally, Chery has sold over 500,000 units of the TIGGO 4. Australian customers can begin placing orders from 16th September, with showroom availability expected in October.

The SUV will be backed by Chery's 7-year unlimited kilometer warranty, 7-year capped price servicing, and up to 7 years of roadside assistance.
