Mazda has released pricing and specification details for the next-generation CX-5, which is scheduled to arrive in Australia in mid-2026.
The new model represents the third generation of the CX-5 nameplate, which has been on sale globally since 2012.
Mazda states that more than five million CX-5 units have been sold worldwide, with over 325,000 delivered in Australia.
The next-generation CX-5 will be offered in five model grades: Pure, Evolve, Touring, GT SP and Akera.

All variants will be powered by a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing up to 132kW and 242Nm.

Mazda has indicated that a hybrid powertrain option is expected to join the CX-5 range at a later stage, with timing currently aligned to around 2027.
