GAC has confirmed local pricing for its EMZOOM compact SUV, which will launch in Australia from $25,590 before on-road costs. The model forms part of GAC’s three-vehicle debut for the Australian market.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 125kW and 270Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Fuel consumption is rated at 6.6L/100km on the WLTP combined cycle.

The EMZOOM enters the compact SUV segment priced slightly above the Chery Tiggo 4 Ultimate, which lists for $24,990 before on-road costs.

It produces more power than the Tiggo 4’s 108kW engine and includes additional features such as a larger 14.6-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof and a ventilated driver’s seat.

The EMZOOM also has a lower claimed fuel consumption than the Tiggo 4, which is listed at 7.4L/100km.

Against the Mahindra XUV 3XO, the EMZOOM sits between the AX5L and AX7L grades, priced at $23,990 and $26,990, respectively, before on-road costs.

It significantly outpowers the XUV 3XO’s 82kW 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, though the Mahindra has a marginally more efficient consumption of 6.5L/100km.

Standard equipment in the EMZOOM includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital cluster and a 50W wireless phone charger.

The model also features dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a ventilated driver’s seat and ambient interior lighting.

Safety systems include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera. Six airbags and front and rear parking sensors are also fitted.

The EMZOOM measures 4410mm long, 1850mm wide and 1600mm tall, with a 2650mm wheelbase.

Luggage capacity is 341 litres, or 1271 litres with the rear seats folded.

GAC will support the EMZOOM with a seven-year unlimited-kilometre warranty for the petrol drivetrain. All models also include five years of roadside assistance.

The EMZOOM is available to order from 18 November 2025 across GAC’s dealer network.
