The 2026 Chery Tiggo 4 Hybrid has been announced for Australia, set to arrive in showrooms in July 2025.
As reported by CarSauce in April, the new hybrid variants bring a few updates, including a new paint colour, revised interior trim, new climate control layout, and updated infotainment system.
The hybrid variant is set to expand the existing Tiggo 4 range, which is already Chery’s best selling model in Australia, having sold over 6400 cars since its launch in September 2024.
The Hybrid Tiggo 4 will be offered in two trim levels: Urban and Ultimate, priced at $29,990 and $34,990 drive away, respectively, marking a price increase of $6,000 and $8,000, respectively, over the petrol counterparts.

While Australian specs are yet to be officially announced, the Tiggo 4 Hybrid is expected to arrive with a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 71kW and 118Nm in a parallel hybrid system with an electric motor that puts out an additional 150kW and 310Nm.
With the new Hybrid system, the Tiggo 4 makes a considerable fuel efficiency gain, achieving 5.4L/100km and an estimated 1000km of range on the WTLC cycle as opposed to 7.4L/100km in the existing petrol model.

Chery say that more details on the 2026 Tiggo 4 Hybrid will be revealed soon.
