The 2026 MG HS Hybrid+ is set to arrive in Australian dealerships in September with drive away prices starting from $42,990. 

The HS Hybrid+ arrives in two trim levels: Excite and Essence. 

The Excite variant arrives with dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and four-way manually adjustable passenger’s seat.  

The Essence variant – priced at $46,990 drive away – adds additional features including a panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, heated front seats and an electrically adjustable passenger seat, and a power tailgate with kick sensing.

Both trim levels are equipped with a host of safety features including Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Emergency Braking, front cross traffic alert and rear cross traffic braking, tyre pressure monitoring, and blind spot detection

The MG HS Hybrid+ range is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a full hybrid system, featuring a two-speed DHT transmission, a 1.8kWh battery capacity and a motor for a combined output of 165kW and 340Nm.

The Hybrid+ is capable of a combined fuel consumption of 5.2L/100km.

This is the second hybrid HS variant arriving in September this year, joining the Super Hybrid PHEV variant in MG dealerships.
