The Polestar 5 will be Polestar's "top-tier" EV

Polestar selected SK On for their cutting-edge battery cell technology. These high-nickel modules are noted for their impressive energy density and large 56 cm cells, promising fast charging, efficient discharging, and extended driving range.

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, emphasized the significant progress of the Polestar 5. He highlighted the high-capacity battery as a key feature that aligns with the grand tourer's expected performance.

Polestar 5 is set to begin production in 2025

Jee Dong-seob, CEO of SK On, expressed enthusiasm about their collaboration on Polestar's top-tier electric vehicle (EV). He anticipates that this partnership will open new opportunities and strengthen their relationship.

The Polestar 5, set to begin production in 2025, is an evolution of the Polestar Precept concept car. This model's development process is being showcased in a YouTube documentary series titled "From Concept to Car", providing insights into its realization.
