The Leapmotor B05 electric hatchback has launched globally at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich, coinciding with the European launch of the B10 small electric SUV.

While performance specifications are yet to be officially confirmed, the B05 boasts rear-wheel drive, 50:50 weight distribution and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the B10 small electric SUV has been launched in Europe, slotting into the range below the larger C10, which is currently offered in Australia, with the former expected to land on local shores late this year.
Prices in Europe start at €29,900 (around $53,400) for the B10, although Australian priceswill likely start at around $35,000 to $40,000 to rival the BYD Atto 3 and Chery E5.
The B10 debuts with a 163kW and 240Nm electric motor, achieving 0-100km/h in eight seconds.

Two battery options are available for the B10: the Pro version with a 56.2kWh capacity and the ProMax version with a 67.1kWh capacity, good for 361km and 434km on the WLTP cycle, respectively.
Both battery options support 11kW AC and 168kW DC charging, each capable of charging from 30 to 80 per cent in under 20 minutes.
