Two of Australia’s fastest-growing Chinese carmakers have announced new September 2025 incentives, with GWM rolling out retail and finance offers across SUVs and utes, while BYD promotes a $2,000 dealership credit on its latest models.

GWM says it is on track to exceed 50,000 sales in Australia this year and has confirmed nationwide driveaway discounts on the Haval Jolion, Cannon, and Cannon Alpha ranges, plus a finance offer for the Haval H6 plug-in hybrid.

The Haval Jolion Petrol Premium is now priced from $23,990 driveaway, the Lux from $26,990, and the Ultra from $32,990. The Jolion Hybrid range has been cut by $2,000, starting from $27,990 for the Premium Hybrid.

The GWM Cannon Premium 2.0-litre 4x4 Dual Cab now starts from $38,990 driveaway, while the Cannon Alpha PHEV range receives a $4,000 discount or a 1.99% finance option. Prices begin at $53,490 for the Lux PHEV and $60,490 for the Ultra PHEV — with the Lux variant undercutting BYD’s Shark 6 ute, which is offered at $59,400 driveaway.

For the Haval H6 PHEV, a 1.99% finance rate over 60 months applies to the Lux AWD, Ultra 4x2, and Ultra AWD variants. These offers are available until 30 September 2025.

Meanwhile, BYD is offering a $2,000 dealership credit for customers ordering a Shark 6 plug-in hybrid ute or Sealion 7 electric SUV before 30 September and taking delivery before 31 October.

The credit can be used for accessories, servicing, charging solutions, or merchandise, and can be stacked with existing deals such as the Shark 6 driveaway offer and a four per cent novated lease discount on the Sealion 7.
