CarSauce Buy 2.0 is out now.

GWM Australia has announced a significant price reduction for its electrified Haval H6 range as part of a limited-time retail campaign.

The manufacturer is providing a complimentary all-wheel drive (AWD) upgrade for selected 2025-built H6 Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) variants.

This offer allows Australian customers to purchase AWD models for the same price as the equivalent front-wheel drive (FWD) versions.

The H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid is now available for $39,990 driveaway, representing a price reduction from $43,490.

The H6 Ultra AWD PHEV has been adjusted to $43,990 driveaway, down from its previous price of $46,990.

These adjustments offer a total saving of up to $3,500 for eligible buyers during the promotional period.

At the core of these models is the Hi4 intelligent all-wheel drive system, which utilises electric motors across both the front and rear axles.

This electrified drivetrain manages torque distribution electronically and in real time based on road conditions and driver inputs.

The system is designed to provide additional traction on loose or wet surfaces while reverting to two-wheel drive when possible to maintain efficiency.

Sales data from 2025 shows the Haval H6 achieved 13,217 sales, which was a 6.5% increase over the previous year.

This growth has continued into 2026, with year-to-date sales reaching 2,179 units as of early March.

The manufacturer indicates that these figures represent a 6.1% year-on-year increase for the mid-size SUV.

The complimentary AWD upgrade is available nationally for customers who purchase and take delivery of 2025 build models by 31 March 2026.

All H6 models remain covered by the GWM Care program, featuring a seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty.

Additional coverage includes an eight-year unlimited kilometre battery warranty and five years of capped price servicing.
