GWM has added two new electrified models to the Haval H6 range in Australia, expanding the line-up to include both hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

The new additions are the Haval H6 Lux 2WD Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), priced from $44,990 drive-away, and the Haval H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid (HEV), priced from $47,490 drive-away.

The H6 Ultra AWD Hybrid introduces all-wheel drive to GWM’s hybrid line-up, using the company’s Hi4 (Hybrid Intelligent 4WD) system. Hi4 is designed to switch between multiple drive modes, distributing petrol and electric power across both axles.

The H6 Lux Plug-in Hybrid offers an entry-level option for customers considering plug-in technology, complementing the existing Ultra PHEV variant. Both additions broaden the H6 range to cover 2WD and AWD across petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Across the H6 line-up, drive-away pricing starts at $35,990 for the entry-level petrol variant and extends to $50,990 for the all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid.
All models are covered under GWM’s Care program, which includes a 7-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, 8-year/unlimited kilometre battery warranty, 5-year roadside assistance, and 5-year capped price servicing.
The updated Haval H6 range will be available in Australian dealerships from mid-September 2025.
