GWM has confirmed the pricing and specifications for its newest medium SUV offering, the 2025 Haval H7.

Positioned between the Haval H6 and Tank 300, the H7 will arrive in Australian showrooms from August.

Available exclusively in the Vanta grade, the Haval H7 introduces a blacked-out styling package as part of its design identity.

It features squared-off proportions, round LED headlights, and a bold front fascia to distinguish it from the H6.

The Vanta variant includes 19-inch machined alloy wheels and black finishes across the exterior elements such as badging, grille, mirror caps, and roof rails.

Powering the new H7 is a 1.5-litre turbocharged hybrid system that delivers 179kW of power and 530Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with a dedicated hybrid transmission and front-wheel drive layout.

Combined fuel economy is rated at 5.7L/100km, and the powertrain alternates between petrol and electric operation depending on driving conditions. GWM says this allows for efficient performance in both urban and highway settings.

The five-seat cabin has been designed to support active lifestyles, with ample space and flexibility for passengers and cargo.

Features include a removable boot floor that doubles as a picnic table and multiple storage solutions.

Interior amenities also include a panoramic sunroof, configurable digital instrument cluster, large infotainment touchscreen, and an integrated head-up display.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with multiple charging outlets and climate control.

The Haval H7 comes equipped with seven airbags and a suite of advanced safety systems.

These include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis view.

Also included are Auto Parking Assist and Reverse Assist technologies to aid with manoeuvring in tight areas. GWM has confirmed the H7 will be covered by its GWM Care program, including a 7-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty.

Additional coverage includes an 8-year/unlimited-kilometre battery warranty, 5-year roadside assistance, and 5-year Capped Price Servicing.

Final details regarding the Capped Price Servicing program and ANCAP safety rating will be provided closer to launch.
