The Zeekr 7X is expected to be the Chinese brand's “volume mover” in Australia according to a Zeekr spokesperson.
Landing last week as Zeekr’s third car launched locally, the 7X joins the X small SUV and the 009 people mover in its local lineup.

Zeekr's latest electric luxury offering arrives in the medium SUV segment, the most popular in Australia’s new car market.
Speaking to CarSauce Zeekr’s Head of Ownership Experience, Matt McCroarey, says the 7X will drive the brand’s sales in Australia.
“The Zeekr 7X is our primary focus. We do believe this will be the volume mover" said McCroarey. “[The mid size SUV segment] a great segment for us to be playing in.”

The 7X rivals the Tesla Model Y as a direct competitor, with Zeekr aiming to take market share away from Australia’s best-selling electric vehicle. The entry-level 7X undercuts the price of its Tesla rival by $1,000, starting from $57,900 before on-road costs.
However, the brand also presents itself as an alternative to the premium German marques as an affordable, luxury and tech driven alternative.

“...we also do see consumers coming over from the German three, so Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi. We're hoping to bring that tech and that luxury at a more affordable price point for the consumer.” McCroarey said.
Zeekr is forecasting over 2,000 sales in Australia by the end of 2025, with the 7X expected to play a pivotal role in achieving this objective.
“...we see this product propelling us to our volume aspirations and obviously sustaining as a business and as a player throughout the Australian market.” McCroarey said.
