Mercedes-Benz Australia has expanded its Edition R offering to the compact segment, adding the AMG A 35 Hatch, A 35 Sedan, and CLA 35 Coupé to the line-up.

Previously offered only on the C 43 and GLC 43, Edition R models feature AMG styling enhancements and a specification tailored to dynamic driving.

Edition R models in the A 35 and CLA 35 range include the AMG Aerodynamics Package with larger front splitter, high-gloss black diffuser blade, and either a rear wing (A 35 Hatch) or spoiler (A 35 Sedan and CLA 35).

They also feature 19-inch black AMG alloy wheels with red brake calipers, ARTICO/MICROCUT black upholstery with red contrast stitching, and AMG aluminium interior trim.

A new specification called Edition R+ debuts alongside these models, offered exclusively on the AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ and CLA 45 S 4MATIC+.

These variants receive all Edition R inclusions along with AMG Performance Seats and, on the CLA 45 S, an AMG fixed rear wing.

All Edition R and Edition R+ models are available to order in Australia from July 25, 2025.
