Nissan has confirmed that the ARIYA electric SUV will launch in Australia at the beginning of September 2025. Orders are now open via the Nissan Australia website and national dealer network.

The ARIYA follows the Nissan LEAF as the brand's second battery-electric vehicle to be sold in Australia.

Local buyers will have the choice of four variants — ENGAGE, ADVANCE, ADVANCE+, and EVOLVE e-4ORCE — with either a 63 kWh or 87 kWh battery depending on grade.

The entry-level ENGAGE grade is priced at $55,840 and includes a 63 kWh battery with a 160 kW single motor and 385 km of range.

The ADVANCE grade starts at $59,840, ADVANCE+ at $63,840, and the flagship EVOLVE e-4ORCE at $71,840.

Driving range spans from 385 km to 504 km, depending on the battery and variant. Charging can be done via AC at up to 22 kW or DC fast charging at up to 130 kW, with a 10 to 80 percent top-up possible in approximately 35 minutes.

The EVOLVE e-4ORCE introduces Nissan’s dual-motor all-wheel drive system locally, delivering 600 Nm of torque and accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. This variant also supports a braked towing capacity of 1500 kg.

All models are equipped with twin 12.3 inch screens — one for the instrument cluster and one for infotainment — along with wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto, and Nissan’s ProPILOT driver assistance suite.

The interior is designed with a flat floor layout, wood-grain trim, and Andon lighting inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns.

The SUV measures 4595 mm long and 1850 mm wide, with a 2775 mm wheelbase.

All variants are covered by Nissan’s 10-year or 300,000 km vehicle warranty when serviced through authorised dealers. A five-year capped price servicing plan and up to 10 years of roadside assistance are also included. Battery capacity is warranted for eight years or 160,000 km.
