Hyundai Motor Company has officially confirmed the addition of the Hyundai i30 Sedan N TCR to the racing simulation game Gran Turismo 7.

The announcement was delivered during the Gran Turismo World Series 2025 World Final at the Fukuoka International Congress Centre in Japan.

Scheduled for a January 2026 release, the vehicle will appear in the game’s roster under the name "ELANTRA N TC".

This integration marks a decade of collaboration between the manufacturer and the game’s developer, Polyphony Digital.

The partnership first began in 2015 with the debut of the hydrogen-powered N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept car.

The upcoming update reflects the brand's transition from conceptual digital designs to verified competitive motorsport success.

The real-world touring car has secured five consecutive class victories at the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race between 2021 and 2025.

Its record also includes three consecutive drivers' titles in the FIA TCR World Tour and two championships in the TCR Australia series.

During the presentation in Fukuoka, executives highlighted how the vehicle’s entry into the game bridges the gap between physical and virtual performance.

The digital model is intended to replicate the high-performance handling and aerodynamics that defined its professional racing career.

This expansion follows the inclusion of high-performance models from Hyundai’s luxury sub-brand, Genesis.

The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo debuted in early 2024, showcasing a 787 kW (1,070 hp) hybrid V6 powertrain.

This vehicle was developed as part of the brand's Magma programme, representing a focus on "Athletic Elegance".

Genesis further developed this platform with the X Gran Racer Concept, which debuted at the 2024 Busan International Mobility Show.

That upgraded endurance prototype utilises an electrically supercharged system to produce a combined output of 1,132 kW (1,540 hp).

Beyond the addition of the touring car, the January 2026 update will provide specialised digital content for players.

A new Hyundai N-themed menu will be introduced at the GT Café to offer specific driving challenges and rewards.

The Hyundai Museum at the game’s Brand Central hub will also receive updates to document the history of the N performance division.

These features are designed to allow users to explore the technical innovations behind the brand's recent motorsport achievements.

Hyundai and Polyphony Digital indicated that the collaboration will continue to introduce next-generation vehicles to the platform throughout the year.
