GWM have added the Vanta pack to their existing 2026 GWM Tank 500 range, arriving now in Australia priced at $75,990 drive-away with customer deliveries beginning in July.

Based on the Ultra grade – priced at $73,990 drive away – the Tank 500 Vanta arrives with a blacked-out aesthetic, complete with a gloss black front grille, Tank badge, door handles, roof rails and window trim surrounds as well as black front bumper inserts, headlight internals, taillight surrounds, spare wheel cover, tailgate door, rear diffuser, door scuff plate and 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers.

Unlike previous Vanta pack models, the Tank 500 is available in a single colour, Crystal Black.

As the Vanta styling grade is based on the Tank 500 Ultra HEV, it comes with the same extra equipment list over the standard Lux variant.

Extra interior amenities include nappa leather-accented seats, heated, ventilated and massaging front seats with memory, electrically folding third row seats, ambient lighting, a 12-speaker sound system, window shades in the second row and active noise cancelling.

Electronic side steps, an electronic front diff lock, a soft-close tail gate complete the list of additional features.

Power is set to come from the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid powertrain currently available in Tank 500 models in Australia, producing a combined output of 255kW and 648Nm, paired with a 9-speed hybrid automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
