Images of the Toyota GRMN Corolla have leaked on social media from the Toyota Town Hall Dealer Expo in Las Vegas.

Back in April, Toyota teased an uprated version of its performance Corolla variant in camouflage disguise, sporting aerodynamic enhancements including a new fender, bonnet and spoiler design.

While performance figures were not detailed, the new variant was said to arrive with more torque, a unique tune and aerodynamic upgrades according to Toyota.

An Instagram user by the name of mysupraadventures recently posted photos of what is reported to be the Corolla GRMN, with aesthetic upgrades matching the previously-teased high-performance variant.

Another post uploaded to the same account showcased interior images, revealing Alcantara trim, GRMN badging, new bucket seats and a rear-seat delete.

The GRMN badge – which stands for Gazoo Racing Meister of Nürburgring – is reserved for the highest-performance, special-edition Toyota variants, many of which have been Japanese market exclusives.

Set to be sold in the United States, the Corolla will be one of the only GRMN models ever sold outside of Japan, the first being the Toyota Yaris GRMN – released in 2018 – with a limited run of 400 cars built and sold in Europe.

Official specifications and plans for its release – including whether or not the GRMN Corolla will come to Australia – are yet to be announced.
