The all-new Toyota LandCruiser Prado enhances off-road capability and on-road performance with V-Active technology. Launching in Australia in Q4 2024, orders open end of August.

2024 Toyota LandCruiser Prado Altitude

The new Altitude grade joins the LandCruiser Prado line-up as the most off-road-capable variant. It adopts V-Active technology with a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel powertrain, improving fuel economy and powertrain smoothness.

AdBlue is used to reduce tailpipe emissions, stored in a 17.4-litre tank. The fluid additive mixes with exhaust gases to break down nitrous oxide emissions.

The Altitude grade features a stabiliser disconnect mechanism (SDM) for greater wheel articulation. SDM can be manually triggered and improves ride comfort on rough terrain.

A locking Torsenâ„¢ rear differential enhances rear-wheel grip. The Altitude also comes with 265/70R18 Toyo Open Country all-terrain tyres for improved traction.

The Multi-Terrain Select system allows drivers to choose from six driving modes. The Multi-Terrain Monitor offers comprehensive camera views for navigating obstacles.

Crawl control, downhill assist control, active traction control, and low-range gearing are standard. V-Active technology across the range improves fuel economy to 7.6L/100km.

The 8.4kW/65Nm motor generator provides extra assistance during acceleration. The motor generator recoups energy during deceleration, feeding it back into the battery.

The new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission offers responsive acceleration. The TNGA-F platform architecture supports a 3,500kg braked towing capacity.
