Australian pricing and specifications have been confirmed for the 2026 KGM Musso EV, with prices starting from $60,000 drive-away.
This makes the Musso EV significantly less expensive than the only other fully-electric ute currently on sale in Australia – the LDV eT60 – which is priced at $92,990 before on-road costs.
Aesthetically, the EV model bears little resemblance to the diesel Musso, most notably in its front fascia and rear-end design.

The differences continue under the skin. Aside from the obvious powertrain change, the Musso EV uses a monocoque construction, as opposed to the diesel’s body-on-frame design. The EV also gets self-levelling rear suspension.
Available in single-motor, two-wheel drive, or dual-motor, all-wheel drive configurations, all variants of the Musso EV source power from an 80.6kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery.
Its battery supports 11kW AC charging and up to 300kW DC charging, the latter allowing 10 to 80 per cent changes to be completed in around 36 minutes. It also supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality.

The two-wheel drive models produce 152kW and 339Nm from their front electric motor, and have a claimed combined range of 420km on the WLTP cycle. They have a braked towing capacity of 1,800kg, a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 3,070kg, and a Gross Combined Mass (GCM) of 4,870kg. Its payload capacity is also rated at 905kg.
As for the range-topping all-wheel drive model, it gains a second 152kW/339Nm electric motor at the rear for a combined system output of 175kW and 630Nm. Compared to the single-motor variants, its WLTP range drops to 380km.
The all-wheel drive Musso EV has an identical braked towing capacity to the single-motor variants, but its GVM and GCM each increase to 3,090kg and 4,890kg, respectively. Its maximum payload is 100kg less than the two-wheel drive models at 805 kilograms.

According to KGM, the Musso EV’s tub dimensions remain unchanged compared to its diesel counterpart, measuring 1,345mm in length, 1,515mm in width, and 510mm in depth.
Standard exterior features on the entry-level Musso EV include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers, heated, power-adjustable and power-folding mirrors, C-pillar integrated sail planes, rear tub liner, tub lighting, and bumper corner steps.
Inside, you’ll find dual 12.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen (compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), ambient lighting, leather-look seats, heated, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and wireless phone charging.

The mid-spec 2WD Black Edge variant – priced at $62,000 drive-away – primarily adds black exterior and interior trim.
Exterior additions include black alloy wheels, C-pillar emblems, sail planes, door mirrors, front bumper trim, and a black bonnet garnish.
Inside, the Black Edge features a black steering wheel bezel, dark wood grain dash trimming, leather and suede-appointed seats, and suede door trim.

At $64,000 drive-away, the Musso EV AWD’s equipment list is identical to that of the entry-level 2WD, save for the addition of all-wheel drive.
When it comes to safety, all three variants of the KGM Musso EV are equipped with eight airbags, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Front Vehicle Start Alert, Front and Rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera, among other notable features.
All variants are also backed by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty and a 10-year, unlimited-kilometre battery warranty.
The 2026 KGM Musso EV goes on sale in Australia on December 1st, 2025.
