
Australian prices and specifications have been confirmed for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade, with prices for the large SUV starting from $89,900 before on-road costs.
A single variant will be available from launch for the second-generation Palisade, with the range comprising a single Calligraphy Hybrid variant, available in either an eight-seat or a seven-seat configuration for an extra $1,000.

The hybrid powertrain features a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, two electric motors – one for energy recovery and one for driving the wheels – a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, with electricity sourced from a 1.65 kWh battery.
It has a combined system output of 245kW and 460Nm, and achieves a claimed fuel economy of 6.8 litres per 100km. The new Palisade has a braked towing capacity of 2,000kg.

The system also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality as well as a “Stay” mode, which uses the battery to power the infotainment system and climate control while the vehicle is parked.
Measuring 5,065mm long, 1,980mm wide and 1,765mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,970mm, the new Palisade is 70mm longer, 5mm wider, and 15mm taller than its predecessor, and its wheelbase is 70mm longer.

Boot space has also increased over the outgoing variant, with the new Palisade boasting 348 litres with the third row up and 729 litres with the third row folded.
Standard features on the new Palisade include 21-inch alloy wheels, dual 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment displays, a heads-up display, Hyundai’s Digital Key 2 – allowing owners to lock, unlock and start the vehicle with their mobile phone or smartwatch – wireless charging, a choice of two drive modes (e-Comfort and e-Dynamic), and a 14-speaker Bose sound system.

In both seven-seat and eight-seat configurations, the Palisade comes with an 18-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and a 12-way adjustable passenger seat, heated seats in all rows, ventilated front and second-row outboard seats, as well as power third-row seats. The seven-seat layout also features a power-adjustable second row.

The Palisade’s suite of safety features includes eight airbags, Forward Collision Avoidance, Blind-spot Collision Avoidance, Highway Driving Assist, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Surround View Monitor, Navigation-based Adaptive Cruise Control and Smart Parking Assist.
Australia deliveries for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade will begin in early October.
