2026 Chery Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid Australian Pricing, Specifications and Pre-Order Offer Confirmed

Australian prices and specifications have been confirmed for the 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid large seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV, priced at $59,990 before on-road costs. 

Its plug-in hybrid all-wheel drive powertrain consists of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and three electric motors – two at the front and one at the rear – with a combined system output of 315kW and 580Nm. Chery claims a combined fuel consumption of 1.4 litres per 100km. 

With electricity sourced from a 34kWh Lithium-Ion battery – supporting 6.6kW AC and 71kW DC charging – the Tiggo 9’s electric-only driving range is quoted at 170km on the NEDC cycle, boasting a total driving range of 1,250km.

A single trim level will be available for the Tiggo 9 from launch: the Ultimate AWD. 

Exterior features include 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, taillights and Daytime Running Lights, puddle lights, a rear LED light bar, retractable door handles, roof rails and a rear spoiler. 

Inside, the Tiggo 9 has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch infotainment system, a heads-up display, leather seats with six-way power adjustment and a massage function for the front seats, as well as heating and ventilation for the outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, voice command and a 14-speaker sound system. 

The Tiggo 9 also boasts acoustic glass and a power tailgate, as well as safety features including 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, Automatic Parking Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Emergency Lane Keeping.

As part of the Tiggo 9’s pre-order offer, Chery will be matching deposits between $500 and $2,000 from October 7th to November 30th 2025. 

The 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 is set for an Australian arrival in November 2025.
