2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Price and Specs: eSprinter Launch, Adjusted Prices Revealed

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter lineup for 2024 has introduced a new model, the battery-electric eSprinter, and revised the pricing structure across the range.

The updates accompany a shift to an exclusively rear-wheel-drive offering, with the removal of previous front-wheel and all-wheel drive options.

Price adjustments see the starting price for the diesel Sprinter models at $71,740, rising to $94,589 for the highest-priced diesel variant.

The electric eSprinter is introduced at a starting price of $104,313, reflecting the inclusion of electric vehicle technology.

The 2024 Sprinter series features updates in safety and technology. Additions include new thorax airbags and enhanced driver assistance technologies such as lane-keeping assist and traffic sign recognition.

Unique to the eSprinter are its rear barn doors that open wider than those on the diesel models, designed to facilitate easier loading and unloading.

Infotainment has also been updated across the Sprinter range, with the inclusion of a 10.25-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered by the latest version of the MBUX software system.

The 2024 Sprinter is available in various body lengths, from the mid-wheelbase at 5.93 meters to the extra-long wheelbase at 7.37 meters.

Cargo capacities vary accordingly, from 9 cubic meters in the standard mid-wheelbase models to 14 cubic meters in the longer versions.

The warranty offerings for the 2024 Sprinter include a standard five-year/250,000km warranty, with the eSprinter's battery covered under an eight-year/160,000km warranty.

The first deliveries of the new Sprinter models are expected in Australia by August 2024.
