MG's newest EV model, the 64kWh Essence version of the MG4, is now available for pre-sale in Australia. The model features innovative technology, including the first Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) available from MG Motor in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a range of up to 435KM on a single charge and a 64kWh battery capable of charging up to 135kW.

MG has announced that pre-sales of the 64kWh Essence model of their newest EV, the MG4, have begun in Australia. Priced starting from $47,990 (AUD) plus on-road costs, the MG4 64kWh Essence model is MG's most technologically advanced EV yet. The model features a range of up to 435KM on a single charge, making electric driving more accessible for Australians.

The MG4 EV line-up also features the first Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) available from MG Motor in Australia and New Zealand, which sets a precedent for the next generation of all-electric MGs'. The Essence model carries innovative features including MG Pilot advanced driver assistance system, automatic LED headlights and rear lights, and adaptive cruise control.

Additionally, the 64kWh battery is capable of charging up to 135kW, meaning a charge time of only 60 minutes to 80% using a 50kW DC rapid charger. The MG4 also offers exceptional storage, interior, and boot space within its compact exterior dimensions, thanks to a stretched wheelbase of 2,705mm.

MG's newest EV model is an exciting addition to Australia's electric vehicle market, offering innovative technology and features that make electric driving more accessible and efficient.
