MG has announced complimentary charging for a year as part of a run-out deal on the 2025 MG4 electric hatchback.

Customers who purchase an MG4 before December 31st will receive a 12-month/1,000kWh voucher for the Evie electric vehicle charging network.

All five variants of the MG4 currently on sale in Australia are included in the deal, which are available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.

The range kicks off with the entry-level Excite 51 variant, priced at $37,990 drive-away, which features a 125kW and 250Nm electric motor, sourcing electricity from a 51kWh battery, good for a WLTP range of 350km.

Its list of standard equipment includes a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, a four-speaker sound system, and ADAS safety features such as Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Traffic Jam Assist.

Priced at $43,990 drive-away, the Excite 64 ups the battery capacity to 64kWh and the power output to 150kW, with an electric driving range of 450km on the WLTP cycle.

The Essence 64 ($45,990 drive-away) adds further equipment over its Excite counterpart, including larger 18-inch alloy wheels, a six-speaker premium sound system, heated and electrically adjustable front seats and electrically folding door mirrors.

It also gains additional safety features, including but not limited to Blind Spot detection, Rear-Cross Traffic alert, and Emergency Lane Keep Assist. However, its WLTP driving range drops to 435km.

With the largest battery capacity of the range at 77kWh, the Essence LR ($49,990 drive-away) also has the furthest driving range of the lineup, achieving 530km on the WLTP cycle. It also benefits from an output increase of the 64kWh models, producing 180kW and 350Nm.

Finally, the range-topping XPower 64 all-wheel drive variant wears a price tag of $52,990 drive-away. It is the most powerful variant in the lineup, producing 320kW and 600Nm. With a 64kWh battery, it has a WLTP driving range of 400km.
