LDV Australia has introduced a new starting price for the D90 Mode 2WD, positioning the vehicle as one of the most affordable seven-seat SUVs in the local market.
The entry-level variant is now available from select dealers for $39,990 drive-away until 30 June 2026, representing a reduction to both the previous private drive-away price of $43,674 and the ABN holder price of $41,490.

The revised D90 range is powered by a 2.0-litre "Blue Core" turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 184kW of power and 410Nm of torque, an increase over the previous model's 160kW and 350Nm output.
The engine features Miller Cycle technology, variable valve lift, and high-pressure direct injection to manage fuel efficiency.
Both the two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive variants are equipped with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Braked towing capacity for the turbo petrol model has been increased to 3,000kg, up from the 2,000kg rating of its predecessor.
The range includes three model grades, starting with the Mode 2WD and moving up to the Executive 2WD and Executive 4WD variants.
The Executive 2WD is priced at $47,884 drive-away for private buyers, while the flagship Executive 4WD is listed at $51,568 drive-away.

While all models feature the 12.3-inch dual-screen setup, the Executive 4WD is specifically equipped with "shift on the fly" functionality to transition between two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive.
The price adjustment places the LDV D90 in direct competition with other entry-level seven-seat SUVs in the 2026 Australian market.

The Mahindra XUV700 AX7 starts at $39,990 before on-road costs and features a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing 149kW and 380Nm, with a lower braked towing capacity of 1,500kg.
Chery’s Tiggo 8 Urban is priced from $42,990 before on-road costs, offering 180kW and 375Nm from its 2.0-litre turbo engine and a towing limit of 1,300kg.
The Mitsubishi Outlander ES seven-seater starts at $42,540 before on-road costs, utilising a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated engine with 135kW and 244Nm, rated to tow 1,600kg.

LDV’s new drive-away offer provides a higher torque output and significantly more towing capacity than these segment rivals at a comparable or lower total cost.
The D90’s interior features a refreshed design with dual 12.3-inch widescreen displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster across all grades.
The vehicle remains one of the largest in its segment, providing 1,140mm of cargo floor length with the third row stowed and 1,800mm with the second and third rows folded.

Exterior updates include a more rugged front fascia and vertically stacked bi-LED headlights.
LDV provides a seven-year or 200,000km warranty and five years of complimentary roadside assistance.
Service intervals are every 12 months or 10,000km following an initial six-month check-up.
