Australian company Carbon Revolution has confirmed it will be supplying wheels as an option for the forthcoming Lamborghini Temerario supercar.
It’s the first time Lamborghini has offered carbon-fibre wheels on one of its models, built at Carbon Revolution’s manufacturing facility in the Victorian city of Geelong.
While deliveries have yet to begin, Lamborghini has the Temerario available to order, starting from approximately $614,000 before on-road costs.

The vehicle is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid, making 676kW and 730Nm – good for a claimed 0-100km/h time of just 2.7 seconds.
At the company’s FY24 Earnings Presentation this week, Carbon Revolution confirmed the partnership with Lamborghini was the first with a Volkswagen Group brand.
The Australian manufacturer recently announced it was also supplying carbon-fibre wheels for the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

The company also announced an increase in year-on-year revenue of 87 per cent.
As well as being up to 50 per cent lighter than equivalent alloy wheels – reducing unsprung weight and improving handling – carbon-fibre wheels are said to reduce noise and vibration, while reducing wear on suspension components.
Over the past decade, Carbon Revolution has supplied wheels to Ford, Ferrari, Renault, General Motors, and Jaguar Land Rover – with almost 100,000 wheel sales recorded in the last financial year.
