Hyundai i20 N Shadow Edition Price: Final Current-Gen Hot Hatch From $41,500

Hyundai Australia has launched the i20 N Shadow Edition, a 100-unit limited-run model marking the end of the current-generation i20 N.

The Australia-only special edition is available now, priced from $41,500 MLP in Atlas White and $42,095 MLP in Phantom Black.

It arrives as a farewell to the current petrol-powered, manual i20 N formula, with the next-generation i20 N and i30 N expected to adopt hybrid powertrains.

That makes the Shadow Edition a notable send-off for Hyundai's smallest N model, which has been on sale locally for five years.

Hyundai's broader N performance line-up has also expanded into electric models, including the IONIQ 5 N and IONIQ 6 N.

Pricing and features

Each i20 N Shadow Edition is individually numbered and gains several cosmetic and equipment changes over the regular model.

Standard Shadow Edition features include 18-inch matte bronze flow-forged alloy wheels, Pirelli P Zero tyres, black wheel nuts and colour-coordinated matte bronze lower door decals.

Inside, the limited-run model adds an Alcantara-wrapped N steering wheel with a Performance Blue top marker and stitching, an Alcantara gear shifter, a numbered plaque and tailored rubber floor mats featuring a Pirelli P Zero tread pattern.

The core mechanical package continues with a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a six-speed manual transmission.

Hyundai has not listed any powertrain changes for the Shadow Edition.

With only 100 units available, the Shadow Edition is set to close out the current-generation i20 N in Australia before Hyundai's small performance-car strategy moves into its next phase.
