2026 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Hybrid Price and Specs: $156k Flagship Confirmed
Toyota Australia has priced the 2026 LandCruiser 300 Series performance hybrid from $156,060 before on-road costs.
Toyota Australia has confirmed pricing for the new 2026 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series performance hybrid, with the new flagship powertrain due in local showrooms in the middle of 2026.
The i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo V6 performance hybrid will be limited to the GR Sport and Sahara ZX grades, priced from $156,060 and $156,810 respectively before on-road costs.
That places both hybrid grades $8900 above their diesel equivalents, with the diesel GR Sport listed at $147,160 and the diesel Sahara ZX at $147,910 before on-road costs.
Toyota says the hybrid system produces a combined 341kW and 790Nm, making it the most powerful LandCruiser offered by the brand.
Compared with the 3.3-litre V6 turbo-diesel LandCruiser 300 Series, the new performance hybrid produces 114kW more power and 90Nm more torque.
The system combines a V6 petrol engine with a single electric motor-generator positioned between the engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota describes it as a parallel hybrid system, with the petrol engine and electric motor able to operate together or individually.
Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations John Pappas said the new powertrain was focused on performance rather than the efficiency-led hybrid systems used in some of the brand’s passenger vehicles.
"As the most powerful LandCruiser we have ever produced, the new performance hybrid GR Sport and Sahara ZX offer the ultimate performance in a premium 4WD SUV," Mr Pappas said.
Both hybrid grades also gain electric power steering, while turbo-diesel LandCruiser 300 Series models retain hydraulic power steering.
Other hybrid-specific changes include an upgraded 200V/1500W rear auxiliary power socket and a 40/20/40-split rear seat back.
Toyota says the GR Sport and Sahara ZX performance hybrid otherwise retain the main driving hardware of their diesel counterparts.
That includes full-time four-wheel drive, five-mode multi-terrain select and adaptive variable suspension.
The GR Sport keeps its off-road-focused hardware, including front and rear locking differentials and electronically controlled E-KDSS suspension.
The Sahara ZX uses a rear Torsen limited-slip differential and also adds a dual rear-seat entertainment system.
The new flagship grades arrive as large off-road SUVs face renewed competition, including the upcoming 2026 Nissan Patrol Y63 and the plug-in hybrid 2026 Denza B8.
The 2026 Nissan Patrol Y63 is expected to move to twin-turbo V6 power when it reaches Australia, while the 2026 Denza B8 has launched locally with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain.

The model will sit at the top of the local LandCruiser 300 Series range when it arrives, above the existing diesel GR Sport and Sahara ZX grades.
