CarSauce Buy 2.0 is out now.

The 2025 Subaru WRX tS Spec B is joining the company’s Australian line-up, with deliveries to begin in April 2025.

Essentially replacing the WRX Club Spec, Subaru appears to be trying to fill the gap left with the discontinued WRX STI of the previous generation – with tS translating to ‘Tuned by STI’.

For $61,490 before on-road costs, buyers get Drive Mode Select with electronically adjustable shock absorbers, a leather STI steering wheel, Recaro sports seats – powered for the driver – as well as a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Brembo brake calipers on ventilated and drilled discs, 19-inch wheels on Bridgestone Potenza S007 tyres, and an STI-style large rear spoiler.

STI Performance Mufflers are also a no-cost option.

Curiously, while the Spec B badge was originally introduced for Subaru Liberty models fitted with Bilstein shock absorbers, there’s no mention of whether Bilsteins are fitted to this WRX Spec B.

As with the rest of the WRX range, the sedan is powered by a 2.4-litre turbocharged flat-four petrol engine, which sends 202kW and 350Nm to all four wheels exclusively through a six-speed manual transmission.

Subaru has also added Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS), which automatically applies the brakes after a collision has been detected and actives the hazard lights.

Helping reduce weight and improve chassis rigidity, the electric sunroof has been deleted from the model.

A new Galaxy Purple Pearl paint is also available to buyers, replacing the Solar Orange Pearl in the colour palette.

The 2025 Subaru WRX tS Spec B will be available from $61,490 before on-road costs, with buyers invited to register their interest with their local dealership or on the Subaru Australia website by clicking here.
