2024 Mazda BT-50 Price and Specs: New Features, Fewer Updates

Mazda has made several updates to the 2024 BT-50 ute range, introducing new features and a new GT model.

The updated range now includes a Rough Terrain Mode for all 4x4 models and a dual-cab chassis option for the GT variant, with pricing starting at $35,520 plus on-road costs.

The Australian BT-50 does not include many of the changes announced for the Thai model and the latest Isuzu D-Max twin.

Features absent in the Australian market include wireless Android Auto, a black grille surround, steering-wheel shift paddles, and the new Rock Grey color.

The BT-50 range now consists of 21 different variants across six trim levels, offering options for either cab-chassis or 'pick-up' tub bodies.

The new dual-cab chassis GT model includes LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, a 9.0-inch multimedia touchscreen, and brown leather upholstery.

All remaining BT-50 variants are equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, producing 140kW and 450Nm.

The entry-level 4x2 XS single-cab chassis has a fuel consumption of 7.0L/100km.

The 2024 BT-50 maintains a five-star ANCAP rating based on 2022 testing.

Mazda is offering special drive-away prices for ABN holders on the BT-50 XT dual-cab 4x4 manual and BT-50 SP dual-cab 4x4 auto until the end of June 2024, priced at $49,990 and $64,670, respectively.

Mazda Australia continues to support the BT-50 despite its recent discontinuation in New Zealand and South Africa.

The 2024 BT-50 is currently available in showrooms.
