Volkswagen Reintroduces Wolfsburg Edition for Tiguan Allspace, Prepares for Model Replacement

Volkswagen has reissued the Wolfsburg Edition for the Tiguan Allspace, which has not been available since 2021.

This edition, initially introduced with the Golf R in 2015, includes black styling elements such as 20-inch Suzuka wheels and black accents on the roof rails and mirror caps.

The Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition is listed at $63,990 before on-road costs.

It is equipped with features including rear privacy glass, a Harman Kardon sound system, tire pressure monitoring, and Wolfsburg-specific badging.

The vehicle is powered by the existing 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 162kW and 350Nm, and includes a seven-speed DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive.

Volkswagen is planning extensive updates to its model range, including the introduction of the ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5 electric vehicles, and the replacement of the Tiguan Allspace with the new Tayron model by the end of 2025.

Updates to the Golf, Tiguan, and Transporter models are also scheduled for 2025.

This special edition is limited to 1,000 units, with sales starting on May 21 and deliveries expected from October.

This launch is part of Volkswagen's ongoing efforts to update its vehicle lineup.

Should Chinese Cars Be Banned in Australia?

Banning Chinese cars in Australia makes no sense. With no local car industry to protect, tariffs would only hurt consumers and limit choice.
