The Tiguan has also received updates for its wheels. Downsized alloys will be applied to the 110TSI Life and Elegance trim levels in the interest of ride comfort. The previous 19-inch wheels will be replaced by 17-inch ‘Venezia’ alloy wheels for the Life variant and 18-inch ‘Napoli’ alloys for the Elegance trim level.
Furthermore, new aero covers are being added to the 20-inch alloy wheels equipped on the 195TSI R-Line, similar to the Golf and Touareg R-Line variants.
Finally, the Tiguan Elegance and R-Line trim levels each gain illuminated Volkswagen badges at the front and rear.

These updates join the most significant change to both models coming in 2026, being the addition of a plug-in hybrid variant to each lineup, announced back in early September.
The Tiguan and Tayron updates have been announced alongside the news that T-Roc R production will end for 2026, but stock is expected to last until early next year.
