RAM Trucks Australia has expanded its vehicle offerings with the introduction of the RAM 1500 Laramie Sport. Based on the existing Laramie platform, the Sport edition features colour-matched bumpers, grille, and mirrors, as well as redesigned 20-inch alloy wheels. A standard feature in this model is the RamBox cargo management system, installed on both sides of the tub.

The interior of the Laramie Sport incorporates black headlining and black carbon fibre-effect dash inserts. Standard safety and convenience features include a 12" Digital Gauge Driver's Cluster, Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, a 360° Surround View Camera, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The Laramie Sport uses a 5.7-litre V8 HEMI engine that generates 291kW of power and 556Nm of torque, and is paired with an 8-speed transmission. The engine employs eTorque technology to assist with fuel-saving cylinder deactivation and Stop/Start functions. The towing capacity for the RAM 1500 Laramie Sport is up to 4.5 tonnes and is priced from $136,950 RRP.

RAM Trucks Australia, as part of the Ateco Group, is the only RAM-authorised manufacturer of right-hand drive RAM trucks globally.
