Peugeot Australia has announced the availability of pre-orders for the E-Expert Van, a new electric vehicle in its commercial lineup.

The E-Expert Van, offered at a Manufacturer's List Price of $79,990, will be available in a long wheelbase variant named E-Expert Pro Long Auto, with deliveries scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The E-Expert Van, Peugeot’s third fully electric vehicle, includes features geared towards commercial use.

Kate Gillis, Managing Director of Peugeot Australia, stated that the introduction of the E-Expert is intended to expand Peugeot's range of electric vehicles available in Australia.

The model includes a new design and enhancements aimed at improving efficiency and the driving experience.

The vehicle also retains characteristics such as versatility and adaptability, which are intended for professional use.

Externally, the E-Expert reflects Peugeot's updated design aesthetics, featuring a new emblem, redesigned LED headlights, and a bumper optimised for protection and aerodynamics.

The interior design has been updated for increased comfort and usability, with changes to the driving position, dashboard, steering wheel, digital instruments, and a 10-inch touchscreen.

The E-Expert's drivetrain consists of a 75kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering 100kW of power and 270Nm of torque, capable of a range of up to 330 kilometers as per WLTP standards.

Charging can be accomplished through multiple methods, with full charging times ranging from 11 hours via a single-phase wallbox to 45 minutes for an 80% charge using DC fast charging.

The van is designed to maximise cargo space and maneuverability, with features such as a 1,001 kg payload capacity and a 6.1 cubic meters loading volume.

It also includes safety technologies such as Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, and an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System.

Available in multiple colours, the E-Expert's full Australian specifications will be detailed closer to its sale date.

Peugeot is currently accepting pre-orders through its dealership network and online.
