Nissan has officially launched the seventh-generation Nissan Patrol during an event held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The unveiling was led by Makoto Uchida, President and CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and attended by global executives, media representatives, and customers, highlighting the importance of the Patrol in the Middle East market.

The latest model marks a significant update with key changes that include a redesigned exterior, new powertrain options, and enhanced off-road capabilities. The Patrol now features Nissan’s signature V-motion grille, which is wider and more integrated into the bodywork, alongside Double C-shaped headlights equipped with Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) technology for improved visibility.

At the rear, a full-width light bar mirrors the front design, contributing to a more cohesive and striking appearance.

The seventh-generation Patrol offers two engine options: a 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo engine that produces 425 horsepower and 700Nm of torque, and a 3.8-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine delivering 316 horsepower and 386Nm of torque. The introduction of the V6 twin-turbo engine replaces the previous V8, offering a 7% increase in power, a 25% boost in torque, and a 24% improvement in fuel efficiency. The new engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous 7-speed, providing smoother and more responsive driving dynamics.

To support its off-road heritage, the Patrol is equipped with an adaptive air suspension system, allowing drivers to adjust the ride height for optimal performance both on and off the road. The vehicle features six distinct drive modes—Standard, Sand, Rock, Mud, Eco, and Sport—tailored to different driving conditions.

A new 4WD transfer mode interlock system enables seamless switching between these modes, ensuring that the Patrol can handle a variety of terrains with ease. Additional electronic aids, such as Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control, are included to further enhance stability and control.

Inside the cabin, the Patrol has undergone significant updates aimed at improving comfort and convenience. The interior features quilted leather seats with massage functionality and NASA-inspired spinal support technology, designed to reduce fatigue on long journeys. A panoramic sunroof compliments the openness of the cabin.

Central to the updated interior is a 28.6-inch Monolith display, comprising twin 14.3-inch screens that provide navigation, entertainment, and vehicle information. Rear passengers even get access to two 12.8-inch displays.

The cabin also includes a 64-colour ambient lighting system and a 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System available on select trims. The system is enhanced with "DynamicAudioReveal" technology, which adjusts the sound based on environmental conditions, and DJX® 3D Surround, which creates a more immersive audio experience. Other convenience features include wireless charging, USB Type-C ports in every row, and an updated power liftgate with hands-free operation.

Safety is a key focus in the new Patrol, which comes equipped with Nissan’s ProPILOT technology. This system combines semi-autonomous driving features like adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assistance. The Patrol also features a range of advanced safety technologies, including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Automatic Emergency Braking. A 3D Around View Monitor provides a 360-degree view of the vehicle’s surroundings, enhancing situational awareness and safety during manoeuvres.

In terms of connectivity, the Patrol introduces Nissan Connect 2.0, an advanced technology suite that integrates Google services such as Google Maps and Google Assistant. This system allows drivers to control vehicle settings, access navigation, and interact with their digital devices using voice commands. The MyNISSAN app adds further functionality by enabling remote vehicle monitoring, including features like remote engine start, climate control adjustments, and vehicle status checks.

The All-New Nissan Patrol will be available in across Nissan's partner network in the Middle East from October.
