Lexus has added the LM 500h Ultra Luxury to its 2024 Australian lineup, positioning it as a vehicle that offers comfort and privacy, similar to executive jet travel. This model is designed to cater to customers seeking a high-end travel experience in a luxury vehicle.

The LM 500h Ultra Luxury aims to enhance the chauffeured experience, especially for passengers in the rear cabin. It includes features such as leather-accented seats that can lie flat, and various technological comforts intended to provide a luxurious travel experience.

This model emphasizes Lexus's focus on rear-seat travel comfort, incorporating what the company describes as Takumi craftsmanship and omotenashi hospitality, which aims to anticipate and meet customers' needs.

John Pappas, Chief Executive of Lexus Australia, has stated that the LM 500h Ultra Luxury represents a new approach to luxury mobility. He notes that the vehicle's appointments and cabin design are intended to offer a unique travel experience.

The interior features two rear captain’s chairs, designed to offer space and privacy. These chairs have adjustable reclining and sliding functions. Additional comfort features include seat heating, ventilation, and massage options.

The vehicle includes an independent temperature control system, featuring a warmth-sensing infrared ray matrix sensor. This system is designed to adjust the cabin climate based on the occupant's body temperature in specific areas.

For entertainment and business, the LM 500h Ultra Luxury comes with a refrigerator, tables, storage compartments, a wireless phone charger, and USB-C ports. It also includes a 48-inch widescreen for viewing media and conducting business presentations.

An audio system with 23 speakers from Mark Levinson™ is included in the vehicle. All seat, media, and cabin functions can be controlled through touchscreen tablets provided in the vehicle.

The model allows occupants to control the natural light with sunshades and adjust ambient lighting. The rear cabin includes 3D-printed ornamentation and features such as reading lamps, vanity mirrors, and an umbrella stand.

The vehicle's suspension and braking systems are designed to prioritize comfort for rear-seat passengers. Sound-suppressing measures are implemented to reduce external noise.

Powered by a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid engine, the LM 500h Ultra Luxury offers all-wheel drive. The vehicle is listed at a starting price of $220,888.
