Great Wall Motors (GWM) has expanded its popular Ute range with the introduction of the new Cannon-CC cab chassis body style, offering additional versatility to tradespeople and primary producers alike. This announcement comes on the heels of one of GWM's strongest sales months in history.

New durable Aluminium tray Dual-Cab

The Cannon-CC features the same dual cab styling as the current GWM Ute range but replaces the Ute tub with a durable aluminium tray. The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, producing 120kW and 400Nm. It boasts an 8-speed automatic transmission, a towing capacity of 3,000 kg, and a payload of 1,130 kg. Fuel economy for the 4x2 variant is 8.4L per 100km, while the 4x4 variant achieves 9.4L per 100km.

Dimensionally, the Cannon-CC is similar to the standard Ute, with a width of 1934mm and height of 1886mm. The new model is 101mm longer, and its aluminium tray measures 1730mm in length, 1855mm in width, and 235mm in depth.

GWM is offering the Cannon-CC in three different variants, with competitive ABN pricing as follows:

  • GWM Ute Cannon-CC 4x2: $35,490
  • GWM Ute Cannon-CC 4x4: $38,490
  • GWM Ute Cannon-L CC 4x4: $41,990

Customers can choose from three exterior colour options: Pearl White (no additional cost), Pittsburgh Silver, and Slate Grey ($595).

Premium interior featuring 9-inch touchscreen

Standard features across the Cannon-CC range include 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and taillights, side-steps, Comfort-Tek leather seats, air conditioning, a 9-inch colour LCD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a suite of advanced safety technologies.

The top-of-the-line Cannon-L CC variant adds chrome accents, power-adjustable electric folding door mirrors with indicators, a leather steering wheel, heated front seats, automatic climate control, an automatic anti-glare rear-view mirror, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree around-view camera.

The first shipments of the GWM Cannon-CC have already arrived, and the new model will be available in dealer showrooms soon. As with all GWM products, the Cannon-CC comes with a 7-year/unlimited km warranty, 5 years of roadside assistance, and 5 years of capped price servicing.
