Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has revealed the prototype of its new electric SUV, the Honda 0 α (alpha), at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 in Tokyo.

The prototype will remain on display at the Honda booth throughout the event, which runs from October 29 to November 9, 2025.

The Honda 0 α is being developed as part of Honda’s next-generation electric vehicle lineup under the Honda 0 Series.

Positioned as a “gateway model,” it follows the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV first shown at CES 2025.

Honda says the 0 α will combine a refined exterior design with a spacious interior aimed at comfort and practicality.

The model applies Honda’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” development philosophy, focusing on improved packaging efficiency and technology integration.

The production version is scheduled for global sales starting in 2027, primarily targeting markets in Japan and India.

The SUV’s packaging design achieves a low vehicle height without sacrificing ground clearance, which Honda says creates a streamlined profile while maintaining interior space.

Both the front and rear ends feature integrated screen areas that combine various lighting and functional elements.

The front includes headlights, the charging lid, and an illuminated emblem, while the rear adopts a U-shaped light design incorporating tail, backup, and turn signal lamps.
