Design and Specifications

The Tank 700, GWM's largest Tank-branded SUV, was first revealed in a government filing and later showcased officially. A Limited Launch Edition, limited to 70 units, features unique design elements and interior fittings????.

Powertrain Details

Equipped with a Hi4-branded plug-in hybrid system, the Tank 700 uses a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, enhanced with an electric motor. This setup results in a combined output of 386kW and 750Nm, channeled through a nine-speed automatic transmission to a four-wheel drive system??.

Off-road and Dimensional Aspects

The SUV includes off-road focused features like air suspension and a disconnecting stabiliser bar. It measures larger than the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series in all dimensions??.

Design Language and Future Models

Following a design similar to the Tank 400, the Tank 700 includes characteristic features like angular wheel arches and an external spare tyre carrier. GWM also hints at a future production version of the Tank 800 concept??.
