Cupra has announced runout deals for the electric Born hatch and Formentor small SUV, with both discounted prices and finance deals offered for a limited time.

The Cupra Born electric hatchback is now available for $49,990 drive-away – including optional $2900 Interior Pack, which comes with a nine-speaker Beats premium audio system and blue Dinamica microfleece seats with heating and massage function.

The deal represents savings of more than $15,000 over standard drive-away pricing, depending on the buyer’s location.

The Born is powered by an electric motor at the rear axle, producing 170kW and 310Nm – fed from a 77kWh battery pack offering up to 511 kilometres of claimed driving range.

Meanwhile, the Cupra Formentor V is available from $47,990 drive-away – representing a discount of $8500 – with the small sporty SUV powering all four wheels from a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine making 140kW and 320Nm via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Cupra is also offering a special finance deal for the range-topping Formentor VZx, which makes 228kW and 400Nm from its 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine.

The Formentor VZx can be financed from $145 per week, based on a zero per cent comparison rate over 36 months and a 20 per cent deposit. For full details and conditions, please speak to a consultant at Cupra Financial Services.
