Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max Set for Australian Launch in May 2024, Specs Revealed

Chery Australia has announced the upcoming launch of the TIGGO 8 Pro Max, a new SUV in the TIGGO series, set for arrival in May 2024. The TIGGO 8 Pro Max, a 7-seater vehicle, will be available in three variants: Urban, Elite, and Ultimate, each featuring a range of specifications.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine across all variants. The entry-level Urban model includes features such as dual 12.3-inch screens, ambient lighting, an air purifying system, and heated and ventilated seats.

Lucas Harris, Managing Director of Chery Australia, commented on the introduction of the TIGGO 8 Pro Max, highlighting the vehicle's features and engine specifications.

The Urban variant comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and includes advanced driver assistance systems, connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8-speaker Sony sound system.

The Elite and Ultimate models add additional features, with the Ultimate variant offering an all-wheel-drive system, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof among other upgrades.

Safety features in the TIGGO 8 Pro Max include multiple airbags and advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking. The vehicle is also covered by Chery’s 7-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, capped price servicing, and roadside assistance.

The SUV's engine is reported to be the most powerful in Chery's current lineup, with a fuel consumption rating of 8.1L/100km for the Urban and Elite 2WD models. The design features include a choice of eight colors and a range of alloy wheels.

The TIGGO 8 Pro Max offers space for seven passengers and provides a luggage capacity of 117 litres with all seats in use, expanding to 479 litres with the third row folded.

Details on the pricing of the TIGGO 8 Pro Max will be made available closer to its launch.
