Chery Australia has achieved two key sales milestones since its market entry in March 2023.

The automaker has surpassed 10,000 total sales in Australia and reached 1,000 monthly sales for the first time in June 2024, recording 1,079 units sold (June VFACTS).

These milestones indicate Chery's increasing presence in the Australian automotive market.

The brand's performance reflects its strategies to introduce new vehicles and expand its market share.

Chery Australia CEO, Lewis Lu, noted these achievements, highlighting the efforts of the local team and dealership network.

The milestone of 1,000 sales in a single month suggests a growing demand for Chery vehicles in Australia.

Chery's vehicle lineup includes the crossover SUV OMODA 5, the medium-sized TIGGO 7 Pro, and the seven-seater TIGGO 8 Pro Max.

The brand also plans to launch its first electric vehicle, the OMODA E5, later this year.

Chery is planning to introduce new models and technologies to the Australian market.

Lu mentioned the brand's focus on expanding its market share and increasing brand awareness in Australia.
