Audi Australia Enhances Safety Features in 2024 Model Range

Audi Australia has announced a significant enhancement in standard safety equipment for its MY24 lineup, ranging from the A1 to the Q5 models.

Starting from Model Year 2024, nearly all Audi models will come with adaptive cruise control as standard, a feature previously only available in select package options. The inclusion means customers won't need to opt for a specific package to avail this safety feature.

The company is also incorporating a series of driver-assistance systems to several models. Vehicles like the Audi A1, A3, A4, Q2, Q3, and Q5 will now come equipped with features such as traffic jam assist, active lane assist, and the Audi pre sense systems.

Apart from the bolstered safety provisions, Audi has introduced various cosmetic changes to its fleet. The MY24 A6 and A7 models are set to receive design adjustments, including a new honeycomb Singleframe grille and modified side air inlets. The A6 will also see changes to its rear diffuser.

Several models will also be available in new paint colours, with some benefitting from updated design elements and additional features. A detailed breakdown of these changes for each model is available for reference.

Despite the addition of enhanced safety features and design tweaks, Audi Australia has assured that the vehicles remain competitively priced, even with slight price adjustments due to logistical challenges and inflationary pressures.

The updated MY24 models will start rolling out in September and continue in subsequent months, with the exact availability contingent on the model variant.
