Alfa Romeo has unveiled the MILANO on April 11, 2024, a new addition to the compact car market, with the event taking place in Milan at the Automobile Club Milano headquarters.

The MILANO, designed to appeal to both existing Alfa Romeo fans and potential new customers, aims to combine the brand's signature sportiness with the compact segment's characteristics.

Developed by the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile in Turin, the MILANO's design seeks to integrate traditional Alfa Romeo styling elements into a compact car format.

The vehicle is noted for its performance-oriented engineering, attributed to the team behind the Giulia GTA, and features such as a 400-liter trunk capacity, positioned as leading in its class for premium BEVs.

The MILANO is available in electric (ELETTRICA) versions with a 54-kWh battery, offering 156 hp and a 240 hp VELOCE variant, claiming a range exceeding 410 km.

Additionally, a hybrid version (IBRIDA) with a 136-hp engine and an option for an all-wheel-drive Q4 variant is also part of the lineup.

The launch also marks the introduction of the MILANO SPECIALE edition, featuring exclusive design and technological elements, including a connected navigation system designed to facilitate access to a network of over 600,000 charging stations across Europe.

Inside, the MILANO focuses on a driver-oriented design, featuring digital screens and a range of controls designed for accessibility and convenience.

It includes autonomous driving capabilities at Level 2 and aims for a balance of safety and comfort within a compact form factor.

Regarding driving dynamics, the MILANO claims to offer optimal performance through various technical solutions aimed at enhancing steering precision and vehicle grip.

Connectivity features include EV Routing, designed to manage charging stops and schedules, and Alfa Connect Services, offering a suite of onboard connectivity and safety services.

The MILANO ELETTRICA aims to provide performance with its electric powertrain, while the MILANO IBRIDA offers a hybrid option for those seeking an alternative to purely electric driving.

The MILANO SPECIALE, a launch edition, combines specific features and the "Be Charged, Anywhere, Anytime" offer, intended to simplify the electric vehicle charging process.

The MILANO model lineup includes multiple powertrain options and configurations, with packages designed to cater to preferences for technology, exclusivity, and sportiness.
