The 2026 Y63 Nissan Patrol NISMO has broken cover in the Middle East, with an Australian release possible for the performance variant.

The output from Nissan’s V35DDTT twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 has been upped to 369kW and 700Nm in sport mode, coupled with a 9-speed automatic gearbox with paddleshifters.

The Patrol NISMO brings with it a host of aerodynamic upgrades including an extended rear spoiler, layered air diffusers and rear side air splitters, as well as grille-side air curtains designed to divert air from inside the wheel-wells to decrease lift and increase downforce.

A NISMO tune for the e-dampers and power-steering as well as high-performance tyres complete the performance upgrades.

NISMO styling details have also been added to the Patrol, including a revised grille design featuring honeycomb mesh, a Formula-E inspired rear fog lamp design, red accents and 22-inch, 9-spoke RAYS forged alloy wheels.

The sports styling continues on the interior, complete with a black and red colour scheme with contrast stitching, red seatbelts, a red start/stop button, carbon fibre-esque surfaces, a combination of leather and suede materials, and red mesh quilting on the seats to match the revised grille design.

Five colours will be available for the Nissan Patrol NISMO: White Pearl, Gray Metallic, Blue Metallic, Black Pearl and Stealth Gray.

The Y63 Nissan Patrol will be available for order in Australia in 2026, however, the NISMO variant remains unconfirmed for the local market.

It is not unlikely that Australia will receive the NISMO though, with Nissan Australia stating its position on its reveal.

“It’s very exciting to see the unveil of Y63 Patrol NISMO,” said a Nissan Australia spokesperson.

“Australia is confirmed as the first right hand drive market for Y63 Patrol with orders due to open in late 2026. We will confirm specification closer to the launch.”
