Genesis has introduced the 2026 G80 range in Australia, led by the new G80 Black variant. The line-up adopts the Signature naming convention to align with the broader Genesis portfolio.

The range includes the 2.5T Signature rear-wheel drive, the 3.5T Signature Sport all-wheel drive, and the 3.5T AWD G80 Black. Pricing starts at $104,200 MLP, with the G80 Black priced at $125,200 MLP.

The G80 Black is offered exclusively in a monochrome finish, combining a black exterior with a black Nappa leather interior. Its design features include a black G-Matrix grille, black 20-inch alloy wheels, and black ash wood garnishes with brass grain highlights.

Interior details unique to the G80 Black include exclusive seat quilting, a black aluminium speaker grille, and an exclusive graphical user interface. Designers developed multiple variations of black materials to achieve a uniform aesthetic across the cabin.

Sustainability initiatives include leather dyed with carbon black from recycled tyres, natural dye sources from pine bark, flaxseed oil and rapeseed, and recycled nylon carpets made from fishing nets. Floor mats incorporate modal fibre from beechwood.

The 2.5T Signature features an eight-speed automatic transmission, 18-way seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 10 airbags as standard. The 3.5T Signature Sport adds a 279kW/530Nm turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, sport styling, and rear-wheel steering.

2026 Genesis G80 Black 3.5-litre Turbo Petrol Engine

The 3.5T AWD G80 Black shares its powertrain with the Sport but incorporates exclusive black exterior and interior finishes. Both 3.5T variants include Road Preview Electronic Control Suspension.

Pricing is set at $104,200 for the 2.5T Signature, $127,200 for the 3.5T Signature Sport, and $125,200 for the G80 Black. Matte paint is available as an option for $2,000. Prices exclude delivery and on-road costs.
