Australian pricing for the 2026 Geely Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid SUV has been officially confirmed along with the launch offer details, with prices starting at $37,490 before on-road costs.
This starting price places the Starray EM-i comfortably in the top two cheapest plug-in hybrid vehicles in Australia, undercutting the BYD Sealion 6 by $5,500, with the Chery Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid priced from $39,990 drive away.

Geely’s launch offer to the Starray EM-i, applying to vehicles ordered before November 30th and delivered by December 31st 2025, includes a Mode 2 home charging cable, complimentary premium paint – normally a $600 option – and the choice between 3 years/45,000km free servicing or a 3.88 per cent comparison rate.
This is also stackable with Geely's existing offer, matching the deposits of customers who place a Starry EMi order before September 30th and take delivery of their vehicle before November 30th up to $1,000.
The Starray EM-i range is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine – producing 73kW and 125Nm – and a 160kW and 262Nm electric drive unit powering the front wheels, with electricity sourced from an 18.4kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery.

It has a claimed pure electric driving range of 83km on the WLTP cycle and a claimed combined fuel consumption of 2.4 litres per 100km.
Two trim levels are offered for the Geely Starray EM-i.

The entry-level Complete variant comes as standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, taillights, Daytime Running Lights, and exterior lighting, an ADAS safety suite, power front seats, a 15.4-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay (an Android Auto added in Q1 2026), a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a six-speaker sound system.
The Inspire model grade - priced at $39,990 before on-road costs – adds 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a heads-up display, wireless phone charging, a 16-speaker sound system, a power tailgate, ambient lighting, front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, and a driver’s seat memory function.
