Australian prices and specifications for the 2026 Foton Tunland mild-hybrid ute lineup have been confirmed, with prices starting from $39,990 before on-road costs.

The Tunland range features a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system – producing 120kW and 450Nm – in either 4X2 or 4X4 configurations, paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic.

All variants of the Foton Tunland range have a maximum braked towing capacity of 3500kg.

Foton says the final features and specifications for the Tunland will be confirmed closer to its local launch, but at this stage four trim levels will be offered.

The entry-level V7-C 4X2 standard features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 14.6-inch infotainment display, voice recognition, two front USB-A ports, and spray-in tub liner. It has the largest payload capacity of the range at 1,089kg.

The V7-C also comes with an ADAS safety suite including trailer stability assist, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross traffic alert.

The V7-C 4X4 adds a part-time 4WD system with selectable drive modes and terrain specific modes for sand, mud and snow, a rear differential lock, all-terrain tyres and 4X4 specific badging. It is priced at $42,990 before on-road costs.

The V9-L 4x4 – priced at $45,990 before on-road costs – swaps out the leaf springs for multi-link rear suspension, and has a reduced payload capacity of 995kg.

This variant adds 18-inch wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a 220V Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) power socket with 300W power outlet, two rear-seat USB-A ports, a wireless phone charger, sports bar and lockable tray.

Priced at $49,990 before on road costs, the range-topping Tunland V9-S includes a front differential lock, driver monitoring system, roof rails, ventilated front seats with driver’s seat memory, heated outboard rear seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

The Foton Tunland is set to arrive in Australia in the third quarter of 2025.
