Australian pricing and specifications have been confirmed for the 2025 Mitsubishi ASX compact SUV with prices starting from $37,740 before on-road costs.
Based on the Renault Captur and riding on the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance CMF-B platform, the new ASX has been positioned as a more premium offering compared to its predecessor, which was axed locally following the introduction of Australian Design Rule 98/00, mandating new Autonomous Emergency Braking Requirements.
This has been reflected in its price, with the entry-level variant some $13,250 more expensive before-on road costs compared to the starting price of the outgoing ASX.

Power comes from a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine from launch – producing 113kW and 270Nm – and features a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and front wheel drive. Fuel consumption is claimed at 6.4 litres per 100km.
Three trim levels comprise the new ASX range: the entry-grade LS, the mid-level ASPIRE, and the range-topping EXCEED variant.
All variants of the ASX come with paddle shifters, gloss black door mirrors, an electric parking brake with auto hold, dusk-sensing headlights and safety features including Emergency Lane Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Driver Attention Alert, Forward Collision Warning, Safe Distance Warning and a rear-view camera.

Standard equipment on the LS variant includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, cloth seats with a height adjustable driver's seat, an eco driving mode, and rear parking sensors.
The ASPIRE variant – priced at $42,690 before on-roads – adds embedded navigation and Google built-in services including Google Maps, Assistant and Play, a larger 10-inch digital instrument cluster, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, additional Comfort, Sport and ‘Perso’ (personalised) driving modes, ambient lighting, wireless chagring, and a height adjustable passenger seat.

Front and side parking sensors, Mi-Pilot – which utilises the added Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Traffic Jam Assist, for semi-autonomous driving – Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Safe Exit Assist are added to the safety suite with the ASPIRE model grade.
At the top of the range, the EXCEED – with a price tag of $46,490 before on-road costs – comes with black leather seats including an electrically adjustable driver’s seat and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, two-tone paint, a frameless auto dimming rear view mirror, and a velvet granite-painted instrument panel.
All variants of the ASX come with a 10-year, 200,000-kilometre warranty, 10 years of capped price servicing and four years of roadside assist.
The 2025 Mitsubishi ASX will be arriving in Australian dealerships from Q4, 2025 onwards.
