The all-new 2025 KGM SsangYong Actyon will soon arrive in Australian showrooms, with the mid-size Coupe SUV receiving approval from government authorities.

CarSauce can confirm KGM SsangYong will launch the new Actyon with a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 120kW and 280Nm – the same found in the smaller Torres SUV.

Drive is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.

Dimensionally, the Actyon is 4740mm long, 1910mm wide, and 1680mm high, riding on a 2680mm wheelbase and weighing in at 1712kg – making it longer, wider, and heavier than the Toyota RAV4.

The Actyon is part of a large generational change for the South Korean carmaker – following the takeover of SsangYong by the KG Group in recent years – with striking exterior designs and modern interior layouts.

Inside features a double-wide screen integrating dual 12.3-inch displays for both the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system, leather upholstery, a crystal gear selector, wireless smartphone charging, ambient lighting, keyless entry and start, and tray tables for second-row passengers.

Local pricing and specifications for the 2025 KGM SsangYong Actyon are expected to be announced ahead of its arrival into showrooms in the second quarter of 2025 (April to June inclusive).
